NIDA ON TOUR provides access to expertise in theatre, film and television, by bringing leading industry professionals and NIDA Graduates to conduct specialist short courses in theatre, film and TV. NIDA graduates who have previously taught for the Open Program include Sam Worthington who is currently making huge waves in Hollywood.
Head of NIDA Open Program Mark Gaal says "We're often told that the experiences we provide benefit many areas of people's lives: developing specific talents, assisting with communication skills and building confidence." Well known actress Rose Byrne, attended the NIDA Open Program and has now become an international star playing opposite Brad Pitt, Nicholas Cage and Glenn Close.
The popular course NIDA Acting Techniques will be on tour in every city. This course introduces the core techniques taught at NIDA and develops skills in voice, movement, improvisation and characterisation as well as learning how to respond to scripts and relate to other performers effectively.

Discover how to get an audition, what kinds of scenes to choose and how best to prepare. This is an ideal course for those considering tertiary acting courses and who need to prepare audition pieces.
